The Girl Who Dances

I am, first and foremost, a dancer.  My name is Kara McCauley, and I just want to share my passion with the world.  I grew up in a small town in South Carolina, and I was involved in competitive dance for most of my childhood through teenage years.  I did group competitions mostly.  I performed on the dance team in high school, and I was the senior captain as well.  Now, I am a dance instructor at a local studio.  It is not a competition driven studio, but one for dancers to come and just enjoy dancing.  Every year we hold a recital so all of the dancers can showcase there hard work.  It is such a joy to see people work so hard and truly succeed at dance.  I doubt that I will ever get back into competition dance, but it does hold a special place in my heart.  I hope that I can be an encouraging role model in the lives of all who I teach.
