Improv Dance
There is a reason that not everyone can simply doing something on a whim or just start improvising. It is tough to do. Conversationally it is not too difficult, but if you get put on the spot with a topic to simply speak on, it can become difficult. Or if musicians are asked to simply create a tune instantly, it takes impressive knowledge and skill to do that. The same can be said for a dancer who can turn on a song and just simply dance. Improvisational dance is so beautiful and amazing. One of the biggest reasons why is that it really allows for the dancer to reveal his or her thoughts. You can see how they are feeling and their soul is exposed when they dance from the heart.
I have a video for you to watch so you can witness just what I am talking about. It is a young lady dancing and the description of the video says, “just venting about life.” I think you can really see that in the performance and I feel it too. Improvising dance is not easy, but this dancer makes it look like it is.
